Weve had our fridge for about a three weeks now. This is hands down the best fridge weve owned. The craft ice is a bonus. We love the options this fridge offers: Use middle drawer as a freezer if you wish turn off craft ice and use as extra space if needed. We like the insta view door. We put items in there we use most to avoid opening main door and losing the cold air. Checks off all our needs Wish we could have bought same the bigger version but wouldnt fit through our door We are super happy with purchase. Looks great too

Nice features but it broke within 6 months

At 6 months ice craft makes ball size iceunit stopped working. In less than 1 week LG dispatched tech and ice maker was replaced. A few days later top ice maker stopped making ice. Again LG had the problem fixed within 1 week. Great service but a refrigerator should not failed twice within 6 months.

Beautiful fridge with great features. Only negative is the ice maker in the door it often gets jammed with chunks of ice which requires the removal of the entire ice compartment to be removed to dislodged the ice cubes. Poorly designed feature.

I bought this refrigerator about year ago and all of a sudden my ice maker stopped working. It could not make the fancy cubes. I called service and they fixed it. My only problem was it seemed to be a problem with all the refrigerators. I thin a LG should set out a recall on the ice maker.

French door LG Refrigerator

I received this 2 1/2 weeks ago. The only drawback I feel this refrigerator has is that the freezer door and bottom freezer draw are connected and come out together. It cannot fully extend on its own. If you have something wide to put in you will not be able too. Everything else is perfect.

Craft Ice Maker is a Surprise Family Favorite...

We purchased the LG out of need due to our old fridge having icing problems different brand. We had purchased LG appliances in the past and were very happy with the ThinQ WiFi connected smart home options. I like to use my phone to get notifications from the refrigerator. We thought the craft ice was gimicky but it is just wonderful. Great for drinks as expected but fits perfectly for the kids water bottles. Space is well organized for small and large items. No issues with the freezer or fridge space.

LOVE the converter drawer. I use mine for Diet Coke and beer right now. So versatile to be able to set it on different temp settings. Craft ice is cool to look at in your glass and lasts way longer than regular ice cubes. The door in the door insta view is great and love the fast access for things I use often.

Excellent Upgrad

We purchased this refrigerator less than one month ago. Overall we are well satisfied. We especially like the double door feature with the see-through glass and the flex droor. These two things were options that really attracted this refrigerator to us. Craft ice has been interesting but we were surprised about how long it took to start producing ice. The freezer section initially seemed to not freeze things thoroughly so I lowered the temperature a couple of degrees and now it seems to be fine. A couple of minor issues at least for now: 1 Installers did not remove all of the tape. Since this is clear tape we did not find it immediately. 2 The flap that covers the gap between the two French doors does not always close. I am keeping an eye on this. The frequency seems to be decreasing. 3 The black lettering over stainless steel for the ice/water/etc center is difficult to see unless the room is extremely well lit. This was an issue for which I should have been since we have experienced the same thing with our LG dryer. This has not been the case for your competitor appliances we have owned. Over all we have been pleased with this refrigerator and would recommend it to our friends.

I have now had my refrigerator fir 2 years. I love the center drawer which we use as individuals leftovers refrigerators works because only 3 of us. The display door is nice as well however it doesnt light up to touch. Fridge ration in general is good. Water dispenser cup capacity isnt a great feature because you have to hold your cup anyway.

Over-all the fridge is a standard fridge. I bought mine and it took several months because of the backlog to get to me so I had MONTHS to be excited about this. It came in and within a few months the indoor ice machine started making noises. I submitted a request for service under the manufacturing warranty they came out and said there was no issue however it was still making the noise. A year later my in-door ice machine is not working at all. I had read reviews that people had issues with this but ignored them because there were some good ones and I really liked some of the features on the fridge. However here I am a year and a half into owning a 3600 fridge and the ice machine doesnt work at all... I have changed my filters when they needed to so it is unrelated to that. I am very let down that after sending so much on this it is not working so quickly.

My new LG Fridge

I bought this Refrigerator from Costco in late December and was delivered on 3 January. After 3 weeks of monitoring the refrigerator and freezer compartment temperatures it seemed that the refrigerator was not cooling and freezing as it should so notified Costco and they replaced with another new unit in early Feb. So far the new refrigerator seems to be cooling and freezing better as it should.

Bought it a month ago. Delivered with big dent in door. Still trying to get it resolved and have the door replaced. Other than that has some nice features door in a door two ice makers things like that. New technology but you do sacrifice some quality in the materials as far as the bins shelves and door storage due to the ice maker bring in the door now. The plastic is thinner than on my previous fridge from 2011. The size of the ice cubes is about 1/3 the size my cubes were in my other fridge no big deal I guess. They say new appliances only last around 12yrs now. Hope I get more than that since they are so expensive now.

I loved this fridge and love many aspects but less than a year after purchase the craft ice maker broke. Customer/technical service was an absolute joke. Getting help with my account also a joke no one can help and only can send an email to the president who of course will never respond. Also? The air filter holder broke the first time I tried to change it. I registered my products all when I first purchased but they of course have no record of me or any of my products. Life ISNT good for LG products its annoying time consuming and a waste of good money.

One thing that Ive noticed is that the refrigerator compartment does not cool down to its lowest settings of 33 degrees but rather hovers between 37 and 42 degrees. Dont know if this will be an issue later but hopefully not.

Cheapened look of inside refridgerator shelves

Went to look at this refrigerator because of the knock feature i own the previous counter depth LG Refrigerator 4 door and they have cheapened the look of the ice maker control pad and it looks more bulky and they took away the easy reach condiment holders with glass sliders in the refrigerator that i use all the time for condiment packages. The shelves are much cheaper looking. They took away the cover for the shelf for the eggs and increased the price I was not worried about a price increase until i saw the inside. Just very cheap looking inside If your going to raise the price dont cheapen the inside look Why would LG do this?

Beware that this is new technology and the design of the new cooling units do not do a good job of of cooling effectively. For example if youre an ice cream fan you will be disappointed that the ice cream is soft. The space in the freezer is more limited and inside the refrigerator on the first level the back of the unit is slanted in and limits the space available at the back of the unit. In general we are disappointed with the design of the unit and the expected length of the longevity.

Great design but issues with ice functionality

Got this fridge in Sep 2022 and has been great so far. The three different compartments provide lots of storage option especially if you are someone you likes having items organized based on usage patterns. The middle compartment is flex so can be configured to different options like freezer or meats or wine chiller. We often switch between wine chiller and freezer option and helped us to do away with the need of getting a separate wine cooler for now. One con is that we have had issues with the ice functionality as the ice maker tends to stop working due yo ice being stuck due to accumulation. This has particularly been happening during winter as our ice usage has reduced causing more accumulation of ice over time. We reached out to LG and were advised to reset the functionality which seems to take care of the issue but is still a nuisance as we need to keep doing it time to time

Terrible Refrigerator

Mother Board fried 2x compressor 1x

We bought this from Howards just over a year ago so out of the first 12-month warranty. Woke up to a warm refrigerator/freezer. Everything inside was already getting warm. The lights worked and water worked. The ice melted all over our hardwood floors. Checked our LG app and it showed the refrigerator working fine and temperatures all normal even though inside it was warm already. Called LG took 2 days for a tech to come out only to say he needed to order parts. 6 days later he came back replaced the mother board. It worked for less than 12 hours. Did a phone support with repair office they had to order another mother board. 5 days later they came out and replaced the mother board again and the condenser. Been 72 hours and its still working. We lost over $500 in food in refrigerator freezer. LG wont reimburse us for anything. Dont trust that LG is a high performance or quality machine.
