We have had this refrigerator for about a year-great features including the craft ice which is always a pleaser for family and friends. I appreciate the linkage to the service status LG app so that I can run diagnostics if needed. Recently I got a call and email from LG service letting me know that they had received an error report on our icemaker. They set up a service call and took care of the issue within a very short period of time. Now THAT is service well done

Had this fridge of about 18 months when it started t not make ice and reach set temperatures. LG was aware of ongoing problem and contacted me when they were alerted on the wireless monitoring system. Tech has been here 3 times in the last 3 1/2 weeks...replaced multiple condensing coils compressors and parts...still not working. Waiting for reply from LG as to what they plan to do....real lemon looking for replacement from LG

We purchased a beautiful fridge that we love. Unfortunately the craft ice machine has hardly worked these first 6 months. Were on a first name basis with our service guy as hes here so often. Shout out to Timothy Smith - hes great But we still dont have craft ice. LG is very aware of the issue yet continues to sell the product with hoes it doesnt happen.

Had this refrigerator for awhile recently had issue with the craft ice maker not making ice properly. Water is discharged directly into the ice container where it freezes without making ice cubes. Called customer service told to download an app and download software update. Cannot get app to accept the password response was to move routers around my home to get one closer to the refrigerator. Not a good solution.

Bad first

Weve had it for a month. The base wheel design creates such an angle that the doors slam shut rattling everything in the fridge. There are leveling legs but they just increase the angle so be aware. The crisper drawers dont open all the way with only one door open as well the sealing flap on the left door sticks in the closed position not letting the door close which is further emphasized by the slamming. More design flaw. The power cord comes from the top front instead of the rear of the unit might be an issue for some. The control panel does not illuminate making choices in the dark difficult. The freezer and refer temps have been changed a few times inadvertently while trying to get a glass of water. Other than that its a beautiful large fridge with lots of functionality. I am enjoying the craft ice cubes in my whisky.

We got this fridge a couple weeks ago and so far we love it. The craft ice is nice to have for drinks and parties and its moce just having the ice maker and water in general. The convertible drawer is nice to have for lunch meats and stuff the freezer is big. In fact we have contemplated getting rid of our stand up freezer thats how big we feel it is. We got little baskets that fit in the drawer spaces to organize our food in the freezer which is great. I recommend it for anyone looking for a new fridge to go with lg. if the door isnt closed it sets an alarm to tell you the ease of selecting which ice or water is nice the option to make ice faster is nice the filter location is easy to access. All around satisfied with our purchase.

We bought this refrigerator and stove the first part of January and they are both very nice. However we have had a problem with one of the doors and have been bounced around until we finally got a technician to come out to see what the problem was. It was decided that the frame was bent and we needed a new refrigerator. We are no in limbo waiting for LG to send approval so that the retailer can order a new one.

Nice refrigerator terrible ice makers

Crabby with LG 3/7/2023

Refrigerator is roomy and bright. Shelves are movable to allow taller items. The door on the right is nice as it allows objects i frequently need without having to open the main doors. The ice makers are terrible. Frequently thevice machine in the door has to be reset. Sprays water so that ice bin is frozen. Craft ice is even worse. I had to shut it off as the ice balls arent dispensed and it continues to poor water in the bin and creates layers of ice in the freezer. When i called customer service i was told i need to reduce the temperature from -5 to -4 as this one degree will make a difference. It didnt.

Back and forth

We have really enjoyed our new refrigerator except for a few things. First we found the sizes of the condiment shelves very strange. You cant fit a lot of the condiment bottles in some shelves. I would assume because of the ice maker placement. Next I feel like the top ice bin is small. You definitely have to plan accordingly if youre having a few people over. Youre going to run out of ice. Lastly the craft ice maker is great until it breaks. Which apparently its going to per the tech that came to replace ours. The great thing is LG extended the warranty on that particular part for 3 years so that helps. Overall we do love this refrigerator but there are a few little things.

Fantastic fridge

Updated my fridge a few months ago and I love the LG with the craft ice maker. Spacious fridge with great lighting and I enjoy the easy access door. Being someone that loves mixing drinks and a good bourbon the craft ice machine has been an awesome addition. I would recommend this time and time again. The black stainless steel looks great and it is easier to maintain than my stainless steel one.

Great Refrigerator

As our 13 year old LG refrigerator was nearing its end of life we needed to turn our attention to the selection of a new one. We chose a new LG French doors model with a convertible drawer and a door-in-door feature. It is great There is so much more room and the placement of shelves has been very well thought out resulting in maximum flexibility. The unit is great looking and quiet.

Nice but issues with the craft ice

The fridge itself is nice but we have had to have the craft ice serviced three times in less that 10 months. It jams and doesnt properly drop the ice. Then it will try to fill the water back up for the ice and over fills into the tray causing more issues. The sound it makes when it jams is startling especially at 3 in the morning. Resetting it does not work.

The refrigerator great the craft ice maker broke

I bought the refrigerator about a year ago and Im happy with the refrigerator but not so happy with the craft ice maker. The ice maker was making a loud noise and note stopped producing ice. I called to get it serviced andhave not had luck. I was scheduled for a Saturday waited all day and LG service contractor never showed up not only did I lose a day of work my craft ice maker is still broke. Scheduling an appointment is like pulling teeth. I have been trying to get this repaired now for 3 weeks and counting.....

Overall great fridge but HORRIBLE customer support

Trying to get the attention of customer service... since Im not able to get them to respond to me in any other way. We purchased this fridge a few months ago and overall have been happy with it until recently. Weve been getting an error code indicating a freezer fan malfunction and the freezer was not staying cold. This happened a few times which was really annoying since the fridge is so new. Its still under warranty so all I want is for customer service to help us understand whether this is a real problem or just a little glitch that is not serious. But theres no way to get through to an actual person on the phone and they dont respond to email. SUPER FRUSTRATING

both ice makers already broken

Both ice makers have been wonky since about 5 months in. The door one completely stopped making ice like 2 weeks ago and its stuck in place like it was emptyingwhen it broke. Craft ice only makes half balls of ice. Put in a claim for repair have yet to hear back from LG.

Bought 2 years ago. The craft ice takes a bit of time to reproduce. I suggest not to count on them for a big party nor the ice maker. Which is surprisingly small given the hefty size of the unit. Needed service the other day. Service agent was quick to help but the mechanic that was sent out to repair was less than polite. Rude is more the proper word. We enjoy the unit and would suggest to others who need a larger than normal fridge to purchase. The price was comparable to others. Given the amount of lg products we already have we know the reliability reputation would uphold.

I bought this on the 22nd of Novemeber. My first new appliance I have ever bought and I am in love. The middle drawer for cold drinks or frozen food or even lunch meat is perfect. I love being able to set the temperature to just the right setting. The adjustable shelves are a keen feature as well. The bottom freezer is a perfect size. My absolute favorite feature is the little button you push to get your condiments out myself my coffee creamer and I dont even have to search or fully open up the refrigerator Way to go LG

Looks sharp. We have the black slate. Middle drawer is a plus. We use it for drinks. Front right door is nice as well. Limited tall item space for milk and wine etc Customer service is difficult. Main reason for the 3 stars. Craft ice maker not working.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

BRAND NEW AND HAD TO HAVE TWO COMPRESSORS AND A CONDENSER REPLACED. SERVICE DOESNT WORK ON WEEKENDS SO LOST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OF FOOD AND WAS NEVER REIMBURSED. ALSO YOU WILL NEED THE HULK TO CHANGE WATER FILTER.

French Door Refrigerator

I have owned this item for almost 2 months. I really like the layout and size but am still getting used to the freezer on the bottom. The craft ice maker broke within the first month of use. LG service replaced the craft ice maker very quickly and with no issues.

Has never worked and customer service sucks

I had this fridge installed a month ago. It has never cooled. For a few weeks the light worked but now nothing. It is a completely dead box. But LG keeps saying things like due to the long wait for a part do you still want this service call? Yes I want a working fridge unfortunately it looks like I should have gone with a different brand to actually keep my food cold.

This unit has been in operations now for about 2 weeks. We love it I love the dual ice makers. One for standard cubes or crushed and the second for round lime sized cubes. Perfect for drinks Took about 48 hours for three unit temperatures to stabilize but Temps are spot on

Great refrigerator with a few issues

This LG is laded with features and space. The quick access outer door easily configured interior and multi-function drawer that converts to freezer or refrigerator space is a real plus. Two issues include the craft ice maker that has been replaced twice and still does not work and peeling black-stainless paint on both doors. LG customer service does not seem to coordinate well with repair service providers resulting in failure to order parts cancelled repair dates etc. and delayed service.

Many calls so customer service and getting bounced around to different people. They sent out wrong part first then called to tell them and they were now saying its cosmetic and not a free warranty replacement. Someone named Shay is no working on it hopefully she can get a replacement door skin authorized.

I like the look and features but mine is having issues right now. The ice makers are not working the freezer is defrosting. The technician has come out three times and replaced the compressor and ice maker and still it is not working. I have another appointment scheduled for Oct 3 but I dont know whether the fridge will last till then. I have things in the fridge that risk spoiling. With all the things that have been changed and probably will still be changed soon in this next appointment I feel like I no longer have a new fridge because there have been a lot of opening and closing of parts and this fridge is roughly 9months old

Customer Service is disastrous

We purchased this refrigerator for new construction in May of 21. Put it in to us in November. After only 9 months the compressor has stopped functioning. LG states they are unable to locate anyone to repair this model. I continue to have to initiate all phone contact trudging though their computer system to get to a human. I am now 4 weeks without a working refrigerator and loosing patience. I would strongly recommend giving deep thought before purchasing a LG refrigerator with its linear compressor.

I recently bought this it has been wonderful The inside capacity is great for a family of 4. I love the sphere craft icel. The only thing I wish that the is that the ice capacity if the regular ice it makes was more. We full up one 32 oz cup alf way and thats it no more ice for a few hours.. so were back to buying bags of ice. If definitely still buy again though.
