Large capacity dryer
Minneapolis Mary
2/5/2016
I had this installed about 3 weeks ago. This dryer is efficient and has easy-to-use controls. Large loads are accommodated easily. I appreciate the Wrinkle Shield setting. The only drawback is the lint screen; I didn't think it would matter but having it located on the top of the dryer instead of in the door is messy and clumsy.

Longvent Dryer
Drainman
9/23/2015
My wife and I have been married 40 + years and have had two sets of Whirlpool washers and dryers, with this being the third. The long vent dryer fit our requirements as we had an approx. 40' run to the back of the home with a few offsets. Dries clothes efficiently and with simplicity of operation.

Long vent owners LOOK HERE!
Rick the laundry expert

I purchased this electric long vent dryer specifically to deal with my exceptionally long and multi-angled/turns vent run. From the first time I turned it on and the flexible piping/hose actually moved due to the air pressure, I knew I had made the right selection.Previous dryers just did not last due to the venting at my house. I believe, based on the air pressure felt coming out of the end of my vent, this previous problem of insufficient exhaust pressure is resolved.....and my dryer will last longer than the previous 4-5 year maximums I was experiencing. This one has heavy duty internals to deal with the exhaust pressure needs of having an extremely long vent pipe with multiple angles as it extends through my basement and under a concrete patio in its way to the outside exhaust point. The dryer handles my laundry needs perfectly.....I don't need many of the newer, advanced features such as steam and internal drying rack systems. The only minor complaint.....and this is very minor.....is the clasp for the door closure feels flimsy. I hope it is not a problem downstream, but I plan to be careful with closing the door in an easy fashion. My previous Whirlpool dryer did have a similar clasp that broke, but I was able to easily replace it myself. If you have a house with a long vent run issue, I found this to be the ONLY product on the market specifically addressing the problem.
